Should you try to maintain family relationships with people who don’t show interest in you?

I’m talking about family members that never call/Text you, check up on you, express any interest in you or your life. Is it your responsibility to keep a relationship with them?

Nope. My husband’s family make zero effort. He feels guilty he doesn’t have a relationship with them but I say it goes both ways. 🤷🏾‍♀️ He has made efforts and they’ve not reciprocated at all. Not our problem anymore.
