When is it okay to move things to being exclusive?

For me I know after two dates. I’m pretty up front and ask a lot of questions right off the bat.

I think everyone will have a different idea of this. 
I think no earlier than one month of dating/talking, so you can at least get to know each other before thinking about that. 
Some people need longer, and some people aren't looking for exclusivity at all, and some people need exclusivity before wanting to have sex no matter how long you've been talking.

It’s different for everyone because not everyone is looking for the same thing. You may be looking for a long-term relationship that leads to marriage or children, meanwhile the other person may not be on that page and may just be looking to have fun and not want the commitment or the responsibility of a relationship yet alone children or marriage or anything else. The first thing you need to make sure is that you both want the same thing. Because if you’re looking for a long-term relationship and they’re just looking for a hook up, clearly you’re not looking for the same thing and it’s not gonna work out well because you’re not gonna get your needs met what you need from them. And either going to tell you what you want to hear and I’ve been ghosted, or use you or it’s just not gonna work out. Sometimes people don’t go into a relationship until they catch feelings, or realize that if this is what they want or not. The point of dating is to realize what you can tolerate and what you can’t, what you can live with and what you can’t live without. Once you both want the same thing, it is completely up to the two of you. If you are somebody who jumps in things quickly, and they are not, and obviously things aren’t gonna work out because you’re gonna be impatient wanting things and they are going to tell you you need to chill. You both have to be in the same place in life, you both have to want the same thing. If you are somebody who is 21, who is dating somebody who is 40 who is divorced, who has a crazy baby mama or an ex-wife, you’re clearly in different places. Either you wanting to have fun, or you wanting to have marriage in a relationship, they may be jilted, they may never want to get married again, do you see where I’m coming from. There is no black-and-white answer to this. It is by person, it is by situation, and it varies some people want to get married quickly, some people are on this board alone 10 years they’ve been waiting for a proposal, everyone is different, if your life isn’t where you want it to be, you haven’t met your goals, you haven’t got your ducks in a row, you don’t have your dream job, you don’t have your dream home, or whatever it may be, for you to want to settle down, or things are just comfortable, and you feel the need not to do so, or you know this isn’t the person you wanna be with for the rest of your life, but because you have kids you feel obligated, every situation is different. If you are somebody who is surrounded by people who are divorced, bad divorces, your own parents, your best friend or siblings, the last thing you want is to get married. Especially after you’ve heard all the horror stories of things that they went through. Kind of understandable. You just have to take every relationship and see where it goes. Whether it’s something that happens quickly, something that is long-term, that or something that leads to more.￼￼￼￼

Different for everyone. I’d say 3-4 months in have the conversation if it didn’t already come up. With my husband we just knew, and he introduced me as his gf right away. But I had other guys not want to commit but had no problem being a booty call 😳

That depends on the progression not the time served. Some people take months to get to know, others only a few dates. Gauge the connection you have. If you are feeling like you are close enough not to see anyone other than that person I would gently bring it up and ask if they feel the same. Or express it from your end of the relationship, meaning “Hey I wanted to tell you I don’t intend to get to know anyone else but you for now because I’m really enjoying our time”.
