I just known in my heart it’s right

A couple months ago I developed strong feelings for my best friend after he kissed me at a bar one night. Since that night in the beginning of February we have had a friends with benefits thing. We are in college and he had a bad breakup 7 months ago. He has been going through a hoe phase since but he was never like that with me until that night at the bar. And he doesn’t have sex with people he just makes out except for me. He is my best friend and we talk everyday and on the phone for hours. We are so similar and we work perfectly it is honestly is an amazing couple combo (everyone says so). Since his breakup he’s said he will never get another girlfriend in college. And I am understanding of that. But we have had conversations and he has told me he’s in love with me. We’ve admitted our feelings for one another but I know he doesn’t want a relationship so I understand and I encourage him to get with other people and we still hook up pretty often. Last night at the bar he was being weird all night and he told me he was over his hoe phase and I was just a hoe to him. I went to talk to him today as usual and he was so not caring and he said he doesn’t care if we hook up again or not but he doesn’t wanna do it often. I said okay and brought up how he said he’s in love with me and he said “only when I’m drunk.” It’s so strange because he’s so sweet to me. Idk why he’s doing this do you think he really don’t like me? Idk what to do it feels so right. And he really is my best friend.
