Sooo I am 30 y/o with no children. I haven’t had a genuine relationship since 2012 (plenty of situationships). Dating has been difficult but I am in a great position financially and for some reason I am extremely ready to have a child? I don’t know why I have been having a desire for a child so bad but lately it’s been hitting me hard. I don’t want to have a child with just anyone but I do have one great guy who is willing to go half on a baby with me because he’s in the same situation lol. We use to date a few years back but we recently reconnected and immediately jumped into the baby topic😳. He’s 35 btw. Any advice?

I’d maybe speak to a lawyer together, so you both know what you’re getting into, get legal stuff, child support and visitation, also expectations set before you even get into the sex/insemination thing because it could get sticky

I was in this exact situation about a year ago. Only difference is I had multiple potential men who wanted to go half on a baby and none of them were anything I ever had a type of previous relationship with. My goal WAS to get pregnant by my 30th birthday but the closer it got there, the more I was having second thoughts. I decided to enjoy my summer and do what I wanted instead because I kept thinking what if I meet someone great? And what if I ruin my opportunity to make them a father? Because I always only wanted 1 child. Well, I met that someone at the end of the summer I turned 30 and 6 months later we were pregnant with both our first child and now I've even decided I want at least 1 more child with this man. I made it known upfront after he said he wanted to be serious that I wanted to have children and like NOW lol. He happily agreed and I'm happy I waited those few extra months and things turned out the way they have. My due date is TODAY! Lol, but our daughter is cozy in there and i think she'll be waiting another week to come. I say do whatever your heart tells you ❤
