progesterone suppositories

i've been inserting them since 13weeks (currently 19weeks) and i've noticed everytime me and my fiancé have sex as soon as he puts it in, the inside of my vagina kind of feels raw? i don't have any STDs or anything and again didn't have this issue until after i started progesterone. i don't insert it until bedtime so the pill isn't in there when we have sex. im going to ask my OB about it at my anatomy scan tuesday but i just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced anything like this before?
