My daughter is dropping how many oz she drinks a day
I don't want to freak myself out because I'm already an anxious person but should I be concerned about am 8 month old losing interest in her milk? I feel like over time she has slowly started to drop her oz. She has been drinking 4 oz since she was about 5 months. But recently, like the past 2-3 weeks, she has not been finishing her bottles in one go. I'll have to keep reintroducing the bottle like after 30 minutes I'll hand it back go her to get her to finish 4 oz. If I don't she'll be completely fine just having 2-3oz of milk. I have even tried to change the cups which worked a little bit but not everytime. I think it's because she's more interested in playing, crawling around, etc than staying in one spot to have her milk. And she is also more interested in solids. I gave her solids twice a day 30-40 minutes after a bottle and she clears her plate. So I am going back to solids once a day to see if it ups her milk intake. With this method she managed to drink ~20oz yesterday. She normally has 16oz a day. Which from what I read online isn't enough... idk am I overthinking this? I mean like should I just follow her lead on this and let her drink as much milk as she wants whenever she wants despite sources saying it should be 24-32oz at this age? Should I keep her at solids once a day or go back to twice a day? Is this normal behavior? Today she only drank 2 oz of her morning bottle and so I put the other 2 oz in her eggs. Should I be doing stuff like that?
