Can cord get compressed during sleep? Please help an anxious mom😟

I have been asked to closely keep a track of fetal movements due to some issues so night time seems to be the hardest for me. Also my baby doesn't seem to be moving throughout the night, there are long stretches of no movements probably few hours. Does anyone feel the same or your baby is moving when you wake up anytime during the night.

I also feel scared that I might just harm the baby somehow when i am lying down by my position causing some compression etc or somehow causing him distress. I read somewhere that such accidents happen mostly when mother is asleep. Anyone has experience?

I am a second time mom and I don't think I ever thought about this in my first pregnancy probably because i was never asked to closely watch movements and it was all going smooth.
