Do you get a 2nd ultrasound on your 2nd appointment?

I’m going in for my 14 week appointment tomorrow I went in at 10 weeks. What normally happens your send appointment?

Most OBs only do 1-2 ultrasounds per pregnancy. One as an early dating scan and one as the 20 week anatomy scan. If you are high risk they will very likely do more though

At 14 weeks, I think you’re unfortunately too far along for the nuchal translucency scan (it has to be done during a very precise window to be accurate), so I suspect your next scan will be the anatomy scan around 20 weeks.

I've always had 3, one at 8-10 weeks, 20 weeks and then 36 weeks.

It’s different with every ob. My ob office does one around 8 weeks, 11 weeks, 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 25 weeks, 31 weeks, than 36 weeks. I’m not high risk either

Depends where you live I think! I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks and will have another one at 13 weeks. My 13 week ultrasound is a more intensive one, it’s for my genetic test screen and measures lots of things like thickness of neck etc. I live in the Bay Area.

My midwife has only done 1 ultrasound ! - I’m 22 weeks ! 
I’ve had 3 other ultrasounds - 12 week genetics - 18 week anatomy & a rescan anatomy! 
But only one through my actual doctor ! & I’ve only seen her twice

I do ultrasounds every 2 weeks but I’m super high risk automatically anytime I’m pregnant so I’m probably not much help 😂
