Good friends baby shower problem

I have a huge problem and I don’t know what to do. So one of my good friends is having a baby shower tomorrow but it’s not until 6:30pm and it’s an hour away. I have a 15 month old that goes to bed around 7 and hates car rides. Leaving my daughter at home with my husband is not an option because he is going through an extremely difficult time with his depression and stuff. Like to the point where he going to an outpatient clinic to help. Would you still go to the baby shower or? What do I even say to her?
