So confused

when we’re together in person it’s 12/10. or if we go on call it’s amazing. but he leaves me on read a lot and I usually am the one to hhu first, but he initiates in person hang outs. and when we are together it’s not always sex. we’re not dating yet. ppl are telling me that either he’s just not interested in me like that bc if he was, he’d be hmu first more than I do OR he’s just not a good texter & is shy/scared to message me first (bc b4 he & I reconnected, I blocked him out of respect for my now ex).
