I was wrong

When my 16 year old son came to me with a lump under his chin I assumed it was a cyst

When the doctor ordered an ultrasound suspecting a benign gland cyst I assumed he was right

When the ultrasound showed 3 swollen lymph nodes I assumed the antibiotics would make it all go away

When the swelling went down but didn't disappear I expected the ENT specialist to tell us it's some minor issue that will clear up on it's own

But he said it could be normal and from a previous infection but based on characteristics on ultrasound he recommends a biopsy.

We're waiting for a needle biopsy to be scheduled and then we wait for results. We're hopeful it's nothing.

I can't be wrong again
