Birth control+anti depressants (long)

Lillian

I had my daughter in February, my OB put me on Zoloft at my 6 week visit because of PPD symptoms and the mini pill (Nora-BE) for contraceptive since I'm bf.

Now for reference I have been struggling on and off for about 10 years with throwing up. Specifically in the mornings and occasionally being sick the whole day. I went to the doctors when I was 12 because it was non-stop everyday, got told that I wasn't pregnant yet and it was probably just a virus that would go away soon. At 19 I had an endoscopy with no answers and wasn't able to do more testing because I lost insurance. I contributed it to stress, lack of sleep, too many energy drinks, ect. No matter what I do nothing helps. Eating crackers before bed, eating them in the morning, cutting certain things out of my diet, changing the time I take my medication, taking anti-nausea meds. Nothing. It's almost always bile, I drink water before so it's less potent. Sometimes it's more manageable and I can go a couple days or so without feeling sick, but it always comes back.

It's gotten pretty severe lately, being sick every single day, and I was wondering if the medications could be contributed to it getting worse?

How bad were your side effects to these medications if any? Also how long did the irregular periods and spotting last from the birth control? Cause right now it is not worth the almost constant bleeding and cramps.
