Walkers and Bouncers interfere with tummy time and walking?

Question

I know all babies are different but I have a friend that lives by these “limited extras” rule (no walkers no bouncers no swing after 3 months) and I swear her kid is going to walk soon. 9-10 months and about to walk. Her other kids have walked at 9 months. Eventually they get put in a safe area on clean carpet with an incentive toy for tummy time < crawling < exploring their body and walking early. 
I’m curious /fascinated about others experiences. My daughter now 8 was verrrry loved, i.e. held ALOT and carried constantly by my family and DH family because frankly she was a little doll baby and no one could get enough of her. First girl on either side etc. Ended up hating tummy time usually and didn’t walk until 13 months lol 😆 but yes obviously she turned out wonderfully lol as all babies do! 
When did your kiddo walk and did you give them lots of time to sit and explore on the ground after 6 months? Was there a correlation to not being in a swing or bouncer? If safely in a pack and play did they still stand and watch you etc?

So I’m pregnant with my first. But I did work at a private day care for years. And working with those little ones you find different babies with different personalities. We had one baby at the private daycare that loved to be helped, loved to crawl, and explore and we would work on all those things with the babies when we could start doing that with them( so pretty much when the parents would start or with them). We also had a baby that only liked to crawl and scoot she hates assisted walking she hated all that and mom started her early on things. So really it’s just about the baby wanting to from my experience. It may work for your friends kids but it may not work on someone else’s kids. I think it really just depends.

I used an exersaucer but they were only in it for 15 mins at a time. They did have lots of time to explore and play with toys. I don’t think it has any correlation. I did the same with each of my kids. My first was walking at 9 1/2 months. My second didn’t walk until her first birthday. Every child is going to learn at difference paces

We never used bouncers, swings, a playpen, walkers or anything. My baby was on the floor loads from birth. She rolled around 7m, crawled at 11m, and walked at 13m

We used a bouncer and my daughter rolled at 6 months, crawled at 7, pulled herself up at 8 months and has been fully walking by 11 months.

My first born used all of those things pretty early on and he didn’t walk until 13 or 14 months. My second used them as well and started walking at a year old. And now with my third (who has Down syndrome) we were recommended by our PT/OT not to use any of those so we haven’t and he started crawling at 9 months and now 11 months he’s starting to cruise  along furniture. I think all the tummy time/floor play definitely helped with that and not putting him in any kind of baby gear

It all depends on baby. both of my girls were raised similar and neither spent much time in a walker or bouncer. I did hold them a lot but they also got lots od tummy time and things. One walked at 9 months and one at 18 months.

My kid walked at 10 months and I used all of these things. I personally liked variety for him because he seem to get more stimulation. Yummy time was boring for him. I also thing the bouncer helps strengthen the legs to help them walk

My girl didn't walk until 16 months. She was always on the later end of normal with her milestones. We did not use jumpers or walkers. She had lots of tummy time and floor time. We had different play gyms and stuff she could use. We also ended up getting a couple big play yard gates and turned my living room into her play area after she turned 6 months.
