I’m taking it this is toxic

It’s bad that I have to threaten to leave my husband just to get him to take some responsibility taking care of his child right? If I don’t stay on his ass about it he doesn’t do it and when I constantly remind him he argues with me about it and the ONLY WAY he will do anything is if I ask him to but first we have an argument about it. I’m so fed up idk if I should stay or leave because he’s a new father just like I am a new mother… I’m so tired of hearing excuses like he’ll say “I work all week” yeah well so do I and you don’t see me making up excuses not to give our child a shower or change his diaper or even feed him for that matter.. I shouldn’t have to ask for him to do these things right?? He should just be doing them because he feels like he needs to?? Because he is the father.
