Does having a healthy Pap smear mean you’re healthy down there?
I’m just curious what a Pap smear actually looks for and if it indicates a healthy reproductive system?
My periods are very regular every month, a bit painful and heavy the first day or two but dr said that’s normal.
I was tested for all types of STD and infection, everything came back great
She put her fingers inside of me to check for what ever she checked for (lol) and said it all looked good.
So I’m curious.. does that mean I’m healthy and have no concerns? I just don’t feel like a Pap goes really deep into much and it makes me nervous like I should request other testing on my own! I wanna know how many eggs I have or if they’re mature and healthy, I want to make sure I’m even fertile. I have health anxiety so those unknowns stress me out! Any insight or advice would be helpful :)
