Long story short my bd and I have only been together since Oct. and we have a baby otw due this Oct… I haven’t met his parents yet but he says he wants me to soon. He has a child from previous (3 yrs) and yesterday was his mothers bday party he said I should’ve been there but today I see pictures of all them and his ex babymom was there… am I wrong for feeling some type of way I don’t understand why she was there..

Thats her grandchild’s mother, its good that they are all still civil and get along for the childs sake. She is going to be linked to the family for life, and its good for the child to have all their family members celebrating events, theres so many kids growing up with 2 seperate families that all hate each other and its nothing but damaging for them. So i think its nice she still gets on with them.

I know there a lot more context but my bd and I aren’t together but they still invite me and our daughter to gatherings (he’s also single thou so Ik that makes it less weird) but I also have full custody and don’t leave her alone with them (she’s only 8 months and I don’t live in the same town) so as the ex bm I still go to things with his family. But I also can see from your pov that it seems weird and uncomfortable especially since you haven’t even met them yet which I’m sorry (it seems like you feel hidden and that sucks and I hope he puts more effort into making you feel welcome and involved.) my bd also has another bm but she’s still pregnant due in august and she doesn’t like me (issues between her and the bd) but I can only hope they involve her the same as they’ve involved me. I wish you luck and hope things get better💕

Well, if my husband and I split up… I would still be apart of his family and his mother would still be one of my best friends 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I would be there for his mom, not him. So maybe she’s still close with his mother and that’s just something you’d have to deal with. But you should talk to him about meeting his family.

So why didn't you go is the question? He has a kid with her who's 3 so she's probably part of the family if they co parent well and are on good terms. She's probably going to be at family functions often because that's her child's family. That's something you have to accept if you have a partner with children from other women.
Also y'all have been together a few months and you're pregnant so why hasn't he introduced you to his family yet?

U are definitely not wrong for feeling any type of way,personally I wouldn’t even think of getting pregnant for a man I haven’t met his family,cause for me if we are going to get serious,I got to meet his family..so I think it’s weird that u are pregnant yet he hasn’t even make any attempts of introducing u to his family or baby mama,probably because u guys are still very early
