would you take the dog
when i was 15 i adopted a dog that i completely paid for. my brother signed for me since i obviously wasn’t 18 (he’s 30) he still lives at my grandparents where i used to live. him and his gf are drug addicts that neglect they’re son with autism and they are pretty much ruining my grandparents lives. he’s been babied his whole life and will probably never move out since my grandparents provide for him and he doesn’t have to do anything. my grandmother cries herself to sleep every night because of him and his girl friend. anyways so i’m now 19 married and moving away. it’s been a fight for years about me taking the dog. they do nothing for him. i take him to get his nails clipped. i pay for everything. i take him to the vet. the only thing they ever did is put him outside on the leash when i was at school or work. they say they love the dog and don’t want him to leave and since it’s in my brothers name it’s his dog. i really don’t care i’m not leaving the dog with them i’m taking him and i really don’t care if i never talk to them again. i haven’t been there for a couple weeks since getting ready to move out but i plan to just show up take the dog and never come back. it’s been a debate among the family and some people say i should just leave him. i just wanna know if i’m actually in the wrong here or if you would take the dog too ?
**im not really worried about him calling the cops or trying to get me in trouble, i know he won’t i know wayyyyy too much to where he would be in a worse situation than me
