Deadbeat ex, heartbroken kids, new baby! 🤯

The ex has pretty much abandoned our kids 6&8 as they can count on one hand how many times they’ve since him since he got into a new relationship 1 year ago. A part of it is because of his new gf. They’ve just had their new baby (she has a previous child he’s an excellent step dad to) and decided our kids now matter enough and want them to see the baby and take “family photos”. This has happened before as he also has a 7 month old he’s abandoned and has never met to ANOTHER girl, but my kids have frequent visits with that baby. I’m stuck in a rut because I know they deserve to meet and see their new sibling, there’s no problem with that, but I know it will hurt them when he will easily abandon them again after spending a few hours showing off the new addition and who knows when they’ll matter enough to be invited for another visit as they’ve shut my kids out and the gf literally blocks any contact every other day of the year. I love my kids and they deserve the best,I just can’t stand to see their “dad” continue hurting them without taking time to even realise how wrong it is, especially when he’s capable of being a dad just chooses not to for them.
