First time getting frustrated

So I worked 3rd last night and did a double. Went to pick up my boyfriend to get his mind off his grandpa passing. And everything so his family doesn’t yell at him(family is mentally abusive). I got there @ 7am it’s now 1030. And we still haven’t left. His family can’t do stuff without him when it comes to his sisters kids. They aren’t our kids I don’t see why we have to get them ready for school. I get that he tries to help, but still frustrates me. Am I in the wrong?
