Positive stories with Valium use to help ease anxiety for dental work?

My dentist prescribed me Valium to take before my crown appointment. I've never taken it so I'm not sure what to expect.
Anyone have any positive stories of Valium helping you get through your dental appointment? Did it make you feel more relaxed?
Positive stories only please, I'm anxious enough.

I've been prescribed Valium for a medical procedure. Take it an hour beforehand. You'll need someone to drive you to and from the appointment. 
It worked great for me! I had no anxiety for the procedure and was just chill. 👌

It just relaxes you so you don't care about what's going on. You can ask for nitrous instead which does the same thing.

I took it before an epidural for neck pain. I didn't even realize the doctor had given me the injection.

It’s a benzo so you’re gonna get high, but not like weed high. If you’ve never taken a benzo of any sort you’re probably gonna be really tired but relaxed and ready for whatever. Just don’t drink alcohol with it at any point that day and don’t continue taking it after the appointment because it’s addictive.
