Formula question for mommas (hypoallergenic)

Hi ladies! I’m so curious if anyone else has had problems like this with their LO…

But baby Eli is on the Nutramigen formula, because he had some pretty bad problems with the gentlease and regular formulas, he’d always cry after feedings, would wake up every half hour, bloody stools and a diaper rash that wouldn’t leave for THREE WEEKS! (And we were being VERY mindful of everything)

We switched him to the hypoallergenic brand Nutramigen and it was wonderful. He could sleep, he was happy, just all around in a good mood.

ANYWAY, with the shortages we’ve been having to explore other options. We’ve been trying other brands of the hypoallergenic and it’s starting up again! We tried the similac one and he was actually crying real tears from his tummy pain… he was only two months old.

Has anyone else had problems with the other brands? I don’t understand they all pretty much have the same ingredients, just slightly different variations of how much.

He’s 3 months and I’m trying to relactate/retry pumping but it’s not been easy since my milk was almost gone.

I hate that this is happening and I’m so powerless in this.
