Bragging moment about my kids!

My son (9) was absolutely devastated when he found out we were having a girl. He wanted a brother so bad. I had a hard time getting him to touch my belly while I was pregnant and take maternity pictures with me. I was super worried for a while.

But when we brought her home from the hospital (he couldn’t be there because of Covid restrictions) and he held her for the first time, he started crying tears of joy.

You would never assume he would have wanted a brother with how he is with her. The word love isn’t even strong enough.

I love my kids more than anything in the world! The age gap is perfect too! He is so incredibly helpful, careful and understanding. He absolutely loves to make her smile and laugh and I cry tears of joy almost every single time!
