15 Weeks & Really Concerned

Hi mama's,

I'm 15 weeks at the moment - 15w3d to be exact. Two days ago I got what my husband and I thought was flu symptoms and turns out as of last night I tested for covid. Im really worried about the development and wellbeing of my baby. The nurses at my hospital last night and my doctors office this morning couldnt really give much relief. The only thing i got which was from my doctor's office this morning is that they don't know long term effects on our bodies, let alone a developing child. But from their experience they havent noticed any major problems due to covid in their practice.

Did anyone have covid this early in pregnancy and everything was fine? Baby was healthy and happy? Development is still going well, even now being earthside and everything was ok? Was there anything your OB practice did for you to help take precautions and ensure the safety of you or your baby due to the fact you had covid during pregnancy? (My practice said the only thing they do is extra ultrasounds in the 3rd trimester)

Im not trying to overthink this or anything but more so just really frustrated I cant seem to get answers from the professionals ive entrusted to care for me and my child. Would love to hear others and their experiences - good and bad if necessary.
