Would you take the semester off?

We’re expecting our first due in January. I am still in online college classes but I took summer off since I have not felt good and will get back fall. Spring 23 started around my due date I’m not sure if I should take one easy class, full classes or none

I’m sorry, I meant to choose of course. I’m currently in online school as well and due first week in September, which is 2 weeks after the start of the semester, and Ill have two very demanding classes. I think I am going to take a leave of absence, and focus on my new baby and the holidays with my husband and 4 year old. I thought about toughing it out, but then I thought what if I have a difficult, long labor, or baby has to be hospitalized, or he’s sickly, idk. So many what if’s, and I want to enjoy the time as this is most likely our last kid. Don’t feel guilty. I was in online school with my first and didn’t take a break and was very tired and stressed. I literally brought my laptop to the hospital to do homework during labor once I got my epidural. Do what’s best for you, but don’t feel guilty about putting your baby first.

Personally I’d take the semester off, but if really don’t want to do that, at most, take one class & be ok with the possibility of dropping it if needed. Those first few weeks are a sleep deprived blur.
