Break up??

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and 1/2 years. When we first started dating it was like a movie scene he just looked at me and kissed me. Lately (like the past 6 months) I’ve been thinking about breaking up with him. Just had a talk with him the other day about not showing me respect and treating me like his girlfriend giving my attitude over little things etc. he’s just been terrible to me lately and all of my friends say I need to break up with him. My problem is that I still love him. Despite how badly he’s been treating me. I mean yeah I’ll always love him but I feel like a breakup is just going to hurt me more than staying…
