Should I reconnect with my “sister in law” or leave it be? Read below*

I met her 5 years ago and she has a awesomely smart daughter who is now 9 years old. My boyfriend sister lives with their grandparents along with her daughter at that time. At that time she lived with them she was on drugs, verbally abusive and also, regrets being a mother my boyfriend told me that she said that. She ran away because she couldn’t stand living at that house only because she couldn’t stand the rules. We did everything in our power to get her help, enroll her in classes to get her GED ect. I had a conversation with her and she seemed like she wanted to get better. Well, she ran away cross country abandon her own daughter and slept with a lot of men. Unfortunately, she got pregnant and is keeping the baby because she doesn’t believe in abortion that’s her only reason. She also, did witch craft on her grandparents. I cut all my communications with her because I am just tired of her trying to take advantage of us and seemed like I was repeating myself all over again. She texted my bf saying I was a bitch. This was 7 months ago and last week I got a text from her saying hey girl! Like nothing ever happened.
