Do you think hormonal birth control is bad for the body or has too many negative effects?
I've been thinking about this more and more lately.
I've had the implant for 1 year and it has given me painful cysts, one of which I had to get removed via emergency laporatomy. The doctor said if it happens again i should consider taking out the implant and consider the non hormonal IUD.
On top of that, I have found it extremely difficult to lose weight since getting it. With my first son I didn't get on any BC and lost all the baby weight and was able to maintain. After my second was born I got the implant 6 weeks later and saw the weight increase and not come off! Im also breastfeeding! I know every body is different, but I'm thinking about it more and more if it just isn't good for me. What do you all think?
