I miss romance!

I'm craving, I guess romance, with my husband. We've been married 5 years almost. I had 3 kids when we got married, and we're now on number 7 (and quitting lol.) So I understand that with everything going on it's hard for either one of us to really do too much. He does the little things though, like he makes my ice water bc I hate touching anything cold. He gets me some kind of snack anytime we're at the gas station because he knows I want something even if I don't ask. He works very hard. He 98% of the time let's me pick what we watch to fall asleep to. We don't mean to fall asleep but hey, 6 kids wears you out. We have no family support. Our parents still work, and my 3 sister's moved out of state. We usually work different shifts so one of us can be with the kids while the other works. We didn't have a honeymoon. We haven't been kid free since we got married. My ex husband went mia after the divorce so who knows where he is. I appreciate all the little things he does. But sometimes I miss when we were dating. He got me flowers a lot, and the lines of his were like a romance movie lol. I am just venting I guess. We try to do small silly things when the kids go to bed like paint together, he likes to make my jewelry, we play trivia that we make up like try to guess what movie a line is from, we cook together most nights. I think we do the best we can. But sometimes I miss those sweet things he would say in the beginning. ❤️
