The wedding night

So I’ve been talking to some friends lately about wedding night sex. Some of them were saying they didn’t even have sex their wedding night or some of them said they did but it really wasn’t a big deal, just went to a hotel and did it and done.

From the time I was a young teen until I got married I always heard that the wedding night was this big deal (even if it wasn’t your first time with your partner) where you went all out to “celebrate” your marriage.

When my wedding was over we got a fancy hotel, he carried me in the room, there were roses, rose petals on the bed, champagne, candles, like this whole big thing just for us to do something we’ve already done but it did feel different to me.

Did you do it on your wedding night? Was it a big deal? Or did you not do it at all?
