Am I wrong for turning on the AC?

My husband turns off the AC at night to save electricity. We live in Florida and it is still typically 85+ at night. It was easily reach 80°F inside the house at night. He has no trouble sleeping in it but my kids wake up sweating throughout the night and I’m the one who has to settle them back down. Even with fans it is HOT and humid and I myself cannot sleep well and usually wake up with a headache. I told him this but he was kinda just like “get over it”. We have plenty of money, he makes good money, a lot in savings, I don’t think the $10 he is saving on electricity every night is worth it. I have been sneaking on the AC at night after he falls asleep and me and our kids are sleeping SO much better. But this morning he got up and was like “why don’t you listen? You don’t need the AC at night. Stop being a baby.” I told him I’m uncomfortable and I can’t sleep and neither can the kids and he just doesn’t care so tbh I plan on turning it on every night and he’s the one that can get over it. Am I wrong?
