Mad because I let him sleep?

My husband has been mainly on baby (1 month old) duty at night for about 2 weeks now & I mainly have baby duty during the day.

He expressed before we went to bed tonight (9pm) that he’s getting frustrated because he’s not sleeping well. So I decided since we keep a bassinet in the living room that I would take the baby downstairs until about 3am, feed him, put him back to bed upstairs & then I would go to sleep so my husband could take over around 6am when the baby would wake up to eat again - that way he would get a full night of uninterrupted sleep. We would essentially switch shifts for a little bit.

Apparently that was the wrong thing to do. It’s 12:30am, he woke up for whatever reason, came downstairs & asked what I was doing. I told him I wanted him to get some rest & didn’t want the baby to wake him up so I was gonna hang out downstairs with him for a bit.

He got mad & went back upstairs without saying another word…

I don’t understand why he’s upset & he won’t talk to me now…
