I’m 2 months postpartum and when I wiped I seen this today. I had a C-section. Has this happened to anyone else? Are these my uterine stitches that finally made there way out?

It looks like stitches. I had a vaginally delivery and had a few stitches down there and occasionally as they dissolved on the inside of the tissue, pieces of the stitch on the outside of my body would break away and this is exactly what they looked like

It looks like stitches. The dissolving ones sometimes remind me of worms when they come off. Nasty I know, but it means you’re healing good!

I had a C-section 2yrs ago but they stapled my shut, Pretty sure they used stitches on the inside though. I never had this happen
