Period??

Has breastfeeding thrown anyone else’s cycle off??? I’m 11w6d PP and I’m patiently awaiting this months period. I’ve read a few things about the hormones PP on top of breastfeeding - things still being out of wack and understandably so. And while we’re discussing hormones, how long is it gonna take for these mfs to fully hop back in line?!!

Currently breastfeeding my 3rd- i got my period back each time around the 6wk PP mark. The timing of each months period was always wonky though, hormones didn't get it together until I stopped nursing 🤷‍♀️

Some women don’t have a cycle while breastfeeding for a year.  Everyone is different but breastfeeding does stop your cycle.  It usually does come back for most around 6 months when baby gets on some baby food.  Enjoy your breastfeeding baby.  Also remember that you can still possibly ovulate without a cycle so breastfeeding isn’t a form of birth control like they use to say. 🤣🤣

I didn’t have any periods while breastfeeding so idk. In my experience hormones don’t go back to normal until you’re 100% weaned from breastfeeding.
