Take action emergency contraception

So my husband and I had unprotected sex a few days ago. The next morning , 8 hours later, I took the take action pill. I says on the box that it can thicken cervical mucus. Well an hour later i had fertile cf that is tinged with blood. It's been 2 days and I still have it. I assumed by "thicken" cf, I would get more thick white discharge....but no, with it being ewcf it's making me nervous. Has anyone had this happen before? What was the outcome? I know it only delays ovulation, but it cant stop it if it's already happening . Could I have taken it at the same time my body decided to ovulate?
