I'm trying to raise a respectable young man but he doesn't take me seriously

I was in an abusive relationship and have been sexually assaulted. When I found out I was having a boy I told myself I would always raise him to respect women and raise a daughter who knows her worth. My son jokes around a lot and it's getting to the point I don't think he takes me seriously. For example I have told him never to lay hands on a women and he said "I like my face. And the second someone damages it, these hands rated E for everyone". I tell him to stop joking around which makes him joke around more. I tried to have the consent talk and told him when a girl says no that means no and continuing is rape and he says "Mom it's 2022. Why are you assuming the gender I'm screwing". I don't like him joking around. I'm trying everything to raise a son girls will be safe with and everything is a joke! I tried asking his father because maybe he would listen more to his father and his father said his personality is joking about things and that's how he gets through life and I need to stop taking offense to it. His dad said if I need to just go with the joke and continue my point. I'm just getting so frustrated with him.
