Is this a dumb reason to break up with someone

My boyfriend is a gamer and my son is too. I have no issue with gaming but my boyfriend is immature about it. He plays games just to piss off the other players but shooting his team mates or destroying things. My 14 year old plays Minecraft and my boyfriend keeps going to his world and destroying everything my son builds and my son keeps telling and complaining to me about it. I asked my boyfriend to be mature and stop and he told me my son is taking it too seriously. My son is getting so frustrated he's started crying and every time I tell my boyfriend to stop he says that I need to teach my son to grow up. He destroyed everything my son build in his world and then killed my son in Minecraft and my son through his controller on the craft and was crying from frustration and yelled at my boyfriend who was in the bedroom. I came followed my son and told my boyfriend to plz knock this off and he was laughing. I'm not excusing my son throwing his controller but I feel my boyfriend is so immature.

@A it's not the game specifically that makes my son cry. He cries when he's frustrated or mad.
