7 year age gap

Hi lovelies, talk to me about the 7 year age gap between kiddos: pros and cons of parenting this age difference? pregnancy experiences between first and 2nd time? What did you notice in your order child when baby was born?

My daughter just turned 6 and I'm thinking about baby#2, would be aiming for baby to be born after my daughter's 7th birthday. (For context, I'm a single parent by choice and will likely be doing IUI with donor sperm). My kiddo is very nurturing, mature, and is very hopeful for a sibling. Baby #2 has always been in the back of my mind since my daughter was really little but it's feeling more and more like "the time". My daughter and I have an incredible bond and my parents and grandparents are nearby and would love to dote on another little one (though they are beyond in love with my daughter and there is zero pressure from them for me to have more kids).

I was 27 when my daughter was born, will be turning 34 soon. My health isn't ideal as it is, so as I'm heading farther into my 30s, I definitely feel the clock ticking.

Would love some honest happy and crappy stories/experiences.
