Teachers birthday ?

Do you do gifts for your child’s teacher on their birthday?

I will add, my LO goes to a private school. It is small class sizes and a tight knit community and we have a group text with all the moms in the class and a room mom who brought up the teachers upcoming birthday saying she will be providing treats for the class to celebrate and the school gives the teacher a small gift card. This is our first year there as my LO is in pre k and is our oldest so I wasn’t sure if parents also usually do some sort of gift for the teacher or if that’s not the norm or expected.
