My 2 year old has gotten too much for me

I’m due with my second in December and since my son has turned 2, he’s gotten really hard to handle. Having a growing baby bump just makes it harder too.

A few things that have been super difficult:

- He only cries for me and wants me to hold him, never his dad. It makes it really hard being the default parent

- HATES changes; today I wore a new set of pyjamas and he was screaming and crying, pulling out my old ones from the wardrobe. He hates visiting new places, seeing new people. He’s definitely not on the spectrum before anyone asks, just hates new things

- Constandly wants me to sit down next to him. If I’m doing something else, he cries and taps on the chair and screams for me me to sit until I do.

He’s my first so it’s definitely something I’m new too, and don’t know if any other mums can relate. All my sibilants have kids and none of them are as difficult as my son when it comes to certain things. I want to begin potty training but I know that will be a whole other battle.
