Anyone recognize this rash?

I’m waiting on our pediatrician to call us back. My 3 yr old son woke up this morning with this rash. It is only on his face in the location shown in the photos he has no fever or any other symptoms he seems perfectly fine and happy and his usual self. The rash is not raised, if you run your fingers over it it is completely smooth. I have never seen a rash like this pop up overnight on a child. I am definitely getting medical advice from my pediatrician I’m just waiting for the on-call nurse to call us back I left a message and I’ll see what she thinks and go from there just in the meantime curious to see if any of you recognize it and know what it is.
