If tested for Gestational Diabetes early (18 weeks) & the results were negative will I be tested again later in pregnancy?

I had gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy but this is my second pregnancy now & they tested me early at 18 weeks, but the results were negative so I don’t have it. But my question is will they test me again between 24-28weeks or am I good?

It's more likely to develop as you get further in your pregnancy. So they should test you later. The late test is more important than the first honestly, but since you're in risk due to having it before they test early as well just in case.

I had GD with my first. With my 2nd I self monitored from 20 to 23 weeks and my sugars were perfect, no issues. 
Did the 1 hour glucose test few weeks later, and failed. Even my self monitoring was all over the place. Was diagnosed with GD. 
If you don't want to do the glucose test again, ask to self monitor.  I'd rather know, and take care of myself and baby then have it be uncontrolled and something happen.

U can still get it later on… food becomes better n things r out of ur control sometimes high blood pressure n weight gain… it’s crazy… you’ll see

They tested me at like 8 or 9 weeks and it was negative. They want to do another glucose test but I’m declining, I personally don’t feel like it’s necessary for me to do it again.
