What was the budget per person for your Bach/ a Bach you attended?

What was the budget per person for either your Bach or a Bach you attended?
My friend’s Bach/wedding is happening next summer, and I just opened a separate savings account to save for it 😂

I just feel like that’s a crazy amount. I’d say any I’ve attended or had were $200 or less for the entire night for everyone. I don’t care who you are to me, I’m not spending $500 on a bachelorette party or even a gift. I don’t even spend $500 on gifts for my kids. Unpopular opinion though.

I just went to a bachelorette weekend. I pitched in 165 for the Airbnb, paid for my own dinner/drinks on the night out, paid for brunch the last morning, and paid for the gas to and from. It was probably right under 500 all told. Mine own bachelorette 15 years ago was probably closer to 400 for everyone, and it was also a weekend trip. 
I cannot even imagine asking or expecting my friends to pay more than 500 for my bachelorette party. That would be outrageous to me to expect anyone to spend that kind of money on a celebration for me. Even 500 makes me a bit uncomfortable.

A lot will depend on the general financial status of your friends. I can’t image asking or expecting a my one to pay more than $500 though. $1k-$2k is a mortgage payment and I can’t image expecting others to drop that kind of cash just because I’m getting married.

$0. I didn't have one as I never saw the point. I remember going to get my nails done with my best friend and having a nice dinner out with her. My best friend did the same when she got married.

Really depends on number of people going/what the plan is. A cottage weekend away will be much cheaper than a Vegas trip. And splitting 4 ways versus 10 will make a difference too. Better to save more rather than less!

That depends on the party itself. I went for a weekend at Disney for mine and then had a second, affordable and local one for those who couldn’t attend the first.

When I was younger it was probably 100-150 per person because it was mainly one night of dinner and drinks.  As we got older and weekends became more common it's probably closer to 1200-1500 depending on if flights and hotels are involved or if it's driving and an air bb or vrbo
