I want a motorcycle

So my husband and I have steady jobs. He bought the car of his dreams a month ago. Didn't really talk to me about it but whatever. Well I used to ride dirt bikes as a kid on our farm, including tractor trailers etc. I bought a motorcycle helmet when I was with my ex because he had a motorcycle. I love the feeling of being free in the wind and going on joy rides. My husband believes that all motorcycle riders are stupid and if they crash/die that's on them because "I bet they were doing something stupid" well last week I mentioned to my husband I want to buy a used motorcycle. I'd get my license first this winter and then buy a motorcycle spring 2023. We have no kids, just dogs. And I know it's scary being on a motorcycle because people text and drive and don't look both ways etc. But I really want one but I feel like my husband will be disappointed and if I got into an accident he would say something like "that's your fault for trusting the driver or trusting X,Y and Z" how do I handle him?
