Normal? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Sv

My daughter is 4, but she still gets really worked up like a 2-3 year old. I mean sometimes even crying herself to sleep (granted it’s always around nap time that this one happens.) I just feel like she should’ve outgrown this by now. She’s my 5th child and all my older ones had really grown out of tantrums period by age 4. Maybe I just got lucky with them. I have no idea. Her pediatrician says it’s normal because most (3) of her older siblings are boys. I understand that she’s still very young and they are still learning on processing and regulating emotions, etc. but it’s a little concerning. She gets so mad that she will hit at us when we try to console her/help her fix an issue/redirect her/talk to her. It’s also usually over something a little odd like “her pants feel weird” or something being out of routine for her. My oldest son is autistic (high functioning) so I’m starting to wonder if maybe she could be. Maybe I’m thinking too much. Does anyone else’s 4 year old still completely wig out like this?
