Step dad issues

So my first born has a step dad she’s 4 my parents gifted her a tablet for early Christmas gift my now husband took it from where I placed it and now he doesn’t have any to return it because my daughter cries and misbehaves so he says she don’t deserve a tablet and that he doesn’t want it in his house ! Like wth it’s our house ! The other day he said something about how he doesn’t want her playing with her toys and now her tablet so what kinda childhood is she having I asked and he keeps saying I’m not giving it to you (me) ! Like what would you do ?! Because I feel awkward like if he’s just being a kinda way towards my daughter and I don’t know what to say anymore to his behavior it’s off to me ! Sorry if my grammar is off .I need advice !
