Forgetfulness on Job

We have a check list of thing to do on customer account during every phone call, it’s not all ways the same but I have had training and have been on the job a year. I notice that’s it’s always 1 thing I forget to do on a customers profile no matter how hard I try to remember. I’m a smart person but I don’t think this is normal. It’ll be in my Brain to do but I’ll end up forgetting it. We have like a check list of steps to do on every phone call and I’m always missing something:( help.
