Would you be upset if your boyfriend / husband chose his sister over you ?

My boyfriend and I have been together for years and live together. He is very close with his sister. And honestly, sometimes I feel like I’m in second place to her.

He always tells me that I’m his best friend but he posted some meme thing saying that his best friend is his sister on social media.

He has bailed on me to go hang out with her before.

I love my family and I definitely love my sister too. But I share a life with him, I do everything with him, I tell him everything , and I truly consider him to be my best friend.

I just feel like I wish he would put me first. She’s not the one listening to him vent everything. Doing his laundry. Cooking him dinner. Rubbing his back.

And if I ever say anything negative about her to him, all hell breaks loose.

What do you guys think about it ? Should I just distance myself from the situation?
