Unsolicited advice

I was talking to a lady in a grocery store about my about my happy, smiling 11 month old who was fully dressed in long sleeve and overall pants. Then a man quickly walks past us and interrupts us with “she should have socks on”. He was in another aisle before I even finished my sentence. Literally hilarious that you think my daughter wouldn’t signal to me if she was uncomfortable or in pain. And maybe I would have received it better if he was polite in the slightest and been like oh thank you for your concern but she’s actually okay. The audacity people have to talk to mothers the way that they do. Please share any similar experiences, people truly need mind their own business and stop telling other people how to parent their kids.
