Didn’t give out my number but now wish I did

So parts of me is kinda kicking myself for not giving my number to a guy I matched with last week on a dating app when he asked if we could exchange, as I am someone who likes to at least chat for atleast a week beforehand. We seemed to have a lot in common and both know what we want and he was super cute! We continued to exchange a few messages after I mentioned if we could wait and he said absolutely. I haven’t heard from him since Thursday. Would it be embarrassing on my end to shoot him a message and ask if he was still interested in wanting to exchange numbers because yolo, Or should I just let it be? If I did reach out, I’d probably word it somehow so it wasn’t coming off like I should’ve taken the opportunity when I had the chance vibes. I know it’s easier to text vs. going on a dating app for some people.
