Sleep help! Constant waking!
My son was an amazing sleeper until Christmas when we moved him into his own room as he was too big for his bassinet (six months old). He was sleeping 8 hours straight then being changed and fed and then sleeping another 3/4 hours straight. The move into his own room and new cot went hand-in-hand with him learning to roll over so we thought it was that waking him up as he couldn’t roll back but he soon started sleeping on his tummy and seemed content doing this. Now the sleep is so bad that he is waking up very hour or forty minutes. He wants to be fed back to sleep and won’t stop crying until he latches on. My husband and I are miserable and at our wits end. Everyone told us to move him back into our room which we did two nights ago but still no change. He just wakes up and looks at us in the bed now. Someone please help by saying they have been through it and it will get better as at the moment we cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel. Am I doing the wrong thing by responding to him when he wakes up and cries?
